Using Tank 3 to settle water before it can enter the recirculation system. I have added 200 gms of Bicarb Soda to Tank 3 and will add another 500 gms. We run less than 10,000l and to obtain a level of 100mg/l we will need to add approx. 1 Kg of Bicarb Soda- over time.
I have found that the Murray Cod and Yellowbelly don't like the fresh tank rain water that's why I am letting it stand and obtain a similar temp to the other tanks.
Backwashed a couple of times and water looks good.
I have filled up the 3rd aquarium in the Lab and got two more filters. We will need to use the air hose near the sump in the lab area to drive the filters. Once the water is settled and tested we will move the Murray Cod and Yellowbelly to the aquariums.
Silver Perch and some other fish species will arrive next Saturday morning.
